FIRST TEAM

Brandon Benjamin, Canyon, Fr., G: One of the more-polished freshmen in county basketball in recent seasons. Benjamin was a Crestview League MVP after averaging 18 points and eight rebounds a game. He was named to the All CIF Division 2AA team.

Cruz Billings, Foothill, Sr., G: He was co-MVP of the Crestview League and won the John R. Wooden high school player of the year award for CIF-SS Division II. He scored 15 points with six assists a game for the Knights, who reached the Division II state championship game.

Zack Davidson, Mater Dei, Jr., F: Davidson clearly was the best player on the No. 1 team in the Orange County rankings. He averaged 18 points and nine rebounds a game, was named Trinity League MVP and was selected to the All-CIF Open Division team.

Chol Deng, Fairmont Prep, Sr., F: Deng averaged 22 points and eight rebounds and was at his best in the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs. He scored 25 points in a playoff win over Murrieta Valley and scored 22 with eight rebounds and five blocked shots in a two-point playoff loss to St. John Bosco.

Rob Diaz, JSerra, Sr., G: He was an All-CIF Division 1 selection. Diaz averaged 18 points and five rebounds for the season. He was especially good in the playoffs, averaging 24 points and six rebounds.

Koat Keat, Crean Lutheran, Sr., F: The Orange County player of the year. He averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. He was named to the All-CIF Open Division team.

John McFadden, San Juan Hills, Sr., F: McFadden was a CIF-SS Division 2A co-player of the year after the Stallions won the 2A championship. He scored 21 points in a semifinals win over St. Paul and 24 points in the championship game win over La Mirada.

Vyctorious Miller, Crean Lutheran, So., G: Miller averaged 20 points and five rebounds for the Saints, who advanced to the CIF Southern California Regional finals in Division I. He received MVP honors at the Damien Classic and Tarkanian Classic tournaments, and was he selected to the All-CIF Open Division team.

Mac West, Capistrano Valley Christian, Sr., F: West averaged 18 points and seven rebounds. He scored 25 points and 24 points in two San Joaquin League games against league champion Fairmont Prep.

Trey Wilborn, Edison. Sr., F: Wilborn was the Surf League MVP. He averaged 17 points and seven rebounds a game for the league-champion Chargers. He was selected to the All-CIF Division 2A team.
