This week’s Orange County high school baseball rankings.

Notable this week: Trinity League champion Santa Margarita finished the regular season as the county’s No. 1 team. The Eagles won their final 11 league games. .. Cypress and Pacifica split their two Empire League games; a 4-2 Pacifica win in the first game, a nine-innings, 2-1 win for Cypress in the second game. … The county’s top three teams this week occupy three of the top four seeds in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs. … Ocean View gets into the top 25 this week after winning the Golden West League championship with a 9-1 league record.

1. Santa Margarita 19-5: The Eagles won the Trinity League championship with a 14-1 league record. They seeded second in CIF Southern Section Division 1 for the playoffs and play first-round hone game Thursday against Foothill.

2. Huntington Beach 20-8: The Oilers regular season included winning the championships of the Surf League and of the National High School Invitational, and finishing second in the Boras Classic South tournament. They are seeded third in CIF-SS Division 1 and are home against Warren of Downey in the first round Thursday.

3. JSerra 16-9: The Lions needed to beat Orange Lutheran in two of their three games last week, the final week of the regular season, and did so to secure third place in the Trinity League. JSerra, seeded fourth in CIF-SS Division 1, has a long road trip for the first round, traveling to Yucaipa on Thursday.

4. Orange Lutheran 17-10-1: The Lancers lost two of three Trinity League games to JSerra last week to finish in fourth place, and could only get into the CIF-SS playoffs as an at-large team – and did. They play at Arlington in a Division 1 first-round game Thursday

5. Mater Dei 16-11-1: The Monarchs beat Servite in two of their three Trinity League games to conclude the regular season and finish second in the league. They are home against Oaks Christian in the Division 2 first round Friday.

6. Cypress 21-7: The Centurions split their two games against Pacifica last week, so the two tied for the Empire League championship. Cypress won the coin flip to break the tie and become the league’s No. 1 playoff representative. Cypress is home Thursday against Mira Costa of Manhattan Beach.

7. Pacifica 21-4: The Mariners’ 16-team winning streak ended with a loss to Cypress on the final day of the regular season. They tied with Cypress for the Empire League championship. Pacifica is at Torrance for a Division 1 playoffs first-round game Thursday.

8. Villa Park 18-10: The Spartans won the Crestview League championship with a 7-2 league record that includes a two-game sweep of El Modena last week. They are at home against Damien of La Verne in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs Thursday.

9. El Dorado 16-11: The Golden Hawks clinched second place in the Crestview League with a 4-0 win over Foothill on their final day of the regular season last Thursday. They play at San Dimas in a Division 1 playoffs first-round game Thursday.

10. Servite 14-14: The Friars finished fifth in the six-team Trinity League. They had the .500 record required for CIF-SS playoffs at-large berth consideration, but they did not get one of the two at-large spots in Division 1.
