The Dhwani Dance Academy visited the Pretend City Children’s Museum on Saturday, Jan. 14, to share in a special celebration of Lohri.

Lohri is a winter folk festival popular in the Punjabi region of northern India, marking a time of harvest and celebrating abundance, peace and harmony.

Dance and music are integral components of the traditional celebrations and on Saturday, young visitors to Pretend City in Irvine were treated to several performances.
