With honor guards and special speakers, the playing of Taps and the laying of wreaths, communities around Orange County honored service and sacrifice on Monday.
Several cities and military groups hosted Veterans Day ceremonies, community members showing up to give thanks for the years spent defending our country.
Veterans, representing their service with their hats and jackets and an array of pins, saluted their peers and those who have been lost.
