The public can check out the creations – they range from Barbie-themed to a surf shack, and even include a modern dog house – on display at the Irvine Spectrum Center.
Touring the playhouses starts Saturday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and continues on weekends through Oct. 5; cost is $20 a person or $50 for a family of four, though children younger than 5 are free.
The auction will be held Oct. 5.
All the proceeds benefit HomeAid, which has been working to address homelessness in Orange County since 1989.
